is a children’s book author, poet, speaker, and an award-winning educator. She has an MSE in special education and an MSE in educational leadership. She strives to create thought provoking children’s literature that teaches children about nature, science, and the world around them, igniting curiosity at a young age. Uglow is the author of the book STUCK! which was published this past March with Bushel and Peck. STUCK! is the poetic exploration of the history of the origins of the ice age and La Brea Tar Pits. Uglow’s poetry has also been published in several print anthologies. Joyce Uglow is based in Burlington, Wisconsin, where her gardens are full of flowers, and even a few vegetables.
