Joseph D’Agnese is a longtime journalist, editor of educational materials for children, and book author. In the field of journalism, he has written for such publications as The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, the science magazine Discover, and the food magazine Saveur. His work has appeared in the prestigious anthology Best American Science Writing, two years in a row. He worked for Scholastic Magazines, where he was editor of the grade school magazine, DynaMath. He has also written Signing Their Lives Away, a state-by-state guide to the 56 men who signed the Declaration of Independence, targeted for adults.
